Our ceremony

We're thrilled to invite you to come and celebrate our marriage in our favourite place in the world - Kalami!

The day will be relaxed - both the ceremony and reception will be happening in one place, giving us lots of time to enjoy the great food, drinks and ambience at Callao - our venue.

We kindly ask that our wedding day remain an adults-only celebration, and we hope you’ll enjoy this special time to relax and celebrate with us.

Venue

about the
venue

Callao, Kalami Bay, Corfu

Callao is a beautiful beach bar and restaurant nestled on the end of Kalami beach.  It is part of the wonderful San Antonio hotel, which is found just a few metres away.

A selection of wines and beers will be available for free throughout the evening but they also serve wonderful cocktails, which we definitely reccommend trying!

The venue sits on and has direct access to the beach, so if you need to take 5 minutes during the day you can dip your toes in the water and relax.

accommodation

The San Antonio hotel is a fantastic place to stay during your trip as it's right next to our wedding venue, but if it's full up or you'd rather stay somewhere else there are many more beautiful places in the north-eastern part of the island.  Some of our favourite areas can be found on the map below.

If you're having trouble looking around, or you just want to take the fuss out of organising your trip, you could reach out to Spear Travels, our Auntie and Uncle's travel agency.

They will make sure that you have a wonderful holiday.

Accom 2

As a rule of thumb, if the accommodation you are looking at is somewhere in between the red pins on the map above, you will be within a 15/20 minute drive of the main points of interest in the north-east of the island (and the wedding!)

If you're looking in Kalami, there are two other villages very close by which can show up in searches on booking.com or airbnb called "Gimari" and "Loustri".  These are both walkable distances from Kalami beach, some only 5-10 minutes, but are up a rather steep hill!

If you don't want to look through the different booking sites to find something specific, here are some of the larger apartment complexes and hotels around the region:

Getting around

Getting around

Corfu is a small island, and many of the towns in the north-east are close to each other, but access between them can sometimes be difficult.  We reccommend that you hire a car for the duration of your trip if you plan to stay in a nearby town, or for any longer than a few days.  You will find good access to most of the larger towns, but some of the smaller villages like Yialiskari or Kaminaki can be a bit nerve-wracking to access for first time drivers in Greece!  This area of the island is nestled into the bottom of the slopes of Pantokrator, which can sometimes create steep descents and narrow roads.

The best way to travel is undoubtedly by boat, and there are boat taxis that run between some of the towns, but renting one for yourself or using these exclusively will be more expensive than having a car.

If you can, getting a rental boat for a day is the best way to experiece Corfu and it's beatufil water and views, but you can still access all of the towns and tavernas by car as well.
